PARKING & DRIVING
Dropping off your bags
You can drive down to the house to drop your bags, but please note the street is narrow and a dead-end, with no space to turn a car at the bottom, so it’s best to reverse down. Be mindful of the neighbours by keeping your stop quick.
PARKING
— Duque de Loulé Car Park (closest to the house, council-run)
Address: Rua Arnaldo Gama, 4000-098 Porto
GPS: 41.142848, -8.608167
Other nearby options (10 minute walk):
— Garagem Passos Manuel
Address: R. de Passos Manuel 180, 4000-382 Porto
— Estacionamento Poveiros
Praça dos Poveiros, 4000-393 Porto
STREET PARKING
You can park on the street, but check for parking meter rules as they vary by day and time.
— Parking Restrictions
Some people park outside the meter area, but this is technically not allowed due to no-parking signs. While residents may have more flexibility, tourists sometimes park there as well. However, be aware that you might get a fine, and improper parking could block emergency vehicles.

I love hosting people, I love sharing the culture and gastronomy, the history and nature of my country, especially Porto and the North of Portugal (the Minho province and the mountains of the Peneda-Gerês National Park). I share recommendations for the best that Portugal has to offer and experience. For me, welcoming visitors can only be done in an honest and humble way, always aiming for the complete satisfaction of guests.
